5 Most Asked Questions – What DO I actually do?

Do you even work? Yes, I do. With the growth of my little blog (even when it’s big – I’ll call it little) come a lot more questions that I answer on a daily basis. They don’t bother me at all, I love people who are curious and go out to get answers – how else do we grow? Most of these come through my Instagram account and please always feel free to send me a DM or comment below my blog posts – I love hearing from my readers/friends/beautiful people.

The 5 questions I get asked most:

How do you make money to travel?

I work in Online Marketing as a freelancer; I’m also a content creator working with other blogs and companies looking for pictures or video content for their businesses. Recently, I’ve also started teaching yoga on the side, but this is my passion and not my bread and butter.

How often do you work?

Every. Single. Day. This includes weekends as well and this proves difficult when you’re in the middle of nowhere on a trip. I take on work depending on what I’m saving for and to be honest, sometimes I work more than a normal ‘9-5’ just to make ends meet with all this plane ticket purchasing!

Where are you from?

I’m from a little (ok, it’s a lot bigger now) coastal town in South Africa called Ballito. It’s a very picturesque town and I had a wonderful childhood but I don’t see myself settling down there, it’s a bit small for me and lacks the buzz of adventure. If you’re looking to relax and take things slow – head to Ballito!

How do you grow an Instagram account?

I am going to be dedicating an entire post to this – so stay tuned! In a nutshell – focus on your content and the followers will come. Believe in your brand!most-asked

Are you ever going to settle down? How old are you?

These questions are always asked together – as if I have a timer on my life! To answer the first one – Of course, I will – when I find someone to settle down with! I’m such an adventurous person and it just doesn’t work if I’m with someone who doesn’t share the same vitality for life as I do. I’d much rather be on my own for the rest of my life rather than settle down with someone whom I’m not crazy about. Secondly, I’m 28 and a half. I’m not afraid to grow older, my life is only getting better and I’m getting more and more comfortable in my own skin.

To those who feel uneasy with life and think it’s not gonna get better – trust me, it gets better with age! With age comes clarity!

So yeah, if you have any further questions for me – please drop them in the comment section below and I’ll get back to you! Promise.

Love from,

Lamb xx

I totally did and I’m happy to answer as many as you want! hahaha – The camera I ordered is a Canon G7X Mark2 – it’s a great point and shoot with a fixed lens. The camera I used in this blog post is my Canon 100D and these shots were taken with the standard lens it comes with! I like the 100D but I wanted better quality and something compact cause I travel so much! X

I stumbled upon your blog by accident but as I was *gatvol* (and luckily as a fellow South African you would understand the word 😂) studying I decided to have a look at it. Regarding cameras, I didn’t read the post on your frustration but seeing as you mentioned the 100D- I am a amateur photographer and I bought the 200D a month ago- the 100D is it’s predecessor. And I can really say it is light and compact enough for travel (well, for a DSLR) and the image quality is beyond amazing. So consider trading in your 100D for the 200D if the new camera keeps on giving problems!

And I’ll start reading your blog now because I am intrigued! 😂
